Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
The cottage is supplied by a private water supply owned jointly by the property owners of Bridge of Orchy. The source of this supply is a mountain stream. There is a filtration plant for the village and each property has a filter and ultraviolet treatment system. As with all private water supplies, regardless of treatment, the water should be boiled for the very young, elderly and those with compromised immune systems.
The cottage also has a private septic tank for drainage. If the water supply to the cottage fails or the drainage fails and is unavailable for more than two days, you will need to leave the accommodation for environmental health reasons and we will refund the remainder of your holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing the cottage.

Your pet is welcome but if it creates damage or unreasonable mess then we may charge a fee for additional cleaning or repairs.
